So the morning rain seems to be over for GP, with this mornings rain moving along over Mpumulanga

The forecasts for thunderstorm probability have increased though, but again, we'll see what happens :)

Ja posted too soon. Ground dry when I looked out the window with sun shining. Only when I went out to check the gauge did I see that it did rain a bit during the night.

I just put down some top soil yesterday afternoon so the lil bit of rain we got was welcome. It was coming down pretty good in Brakpan tho, will check the when I get home.

Cold icy wind blowing - where is our rain ?
The cold conditions are following a front that pushed up over the Eastern Cape during the weekend. The rain is over the Mozambique Channel, from a resulting cutoff-low. No rain is likely for Gauteng until at least next week.

It actually rained a bit in the MP areas about 100k or so from GP. Same as last week where it rained a lot more to the east of GP than GP.
