I got 1.5 mm last night. Not a lot, but better than nothing.

My accuweather app is saying big rain is due next Thursday evening and Fri, although this happens fairly often with accuweather where on the long term forecast you get a 90% of 25mm predicted but as the time gets closer the app updates the forecast slowly eroding it until its like a 25% chance of 1mm or something stupid. Anyways, now and then it works out, so here is hoping.

Current prediction:
Thursday evening 86% of 25.4mm
Friday morning 97% of 28.1mm

If I remember I'll track what the prediction does.

Stick with the weekly forecast, trying to predict exact dates and times more than 7 days in advance is foolish. Rain is highly likely, but may not fall on your exact location:

I am aslo wondering if we should not start preparing. Borehole is a good option.
2 years of supply in Sterkfontein, just waiting to be released.
Also, levels are dropping unusually fast at the moment because there's no supply from Lesotho because of maintenance - this will come back onstream in a month
It takes one good weather system to fill the vaal up completely.
