The rain was over Limpopo and Mpumulanga early this afternoon - I got a nice wash just East of Witbank and had to divert slightly south around some CB's near Lydenburg

I got some decent pictures of some small "towering" cumulus clouds though - the haze today was horrendous

A windmill is more expensive than a solar pump and the hassles with maintenance is much more than a solar pump.
Something like this?
That's not that expensive, depending what else is required

Look at a bubbler system to filter graywater for veggie garden use
Will read up on that.

Our problem with things like that is that our ground is pretty much level, no slopes. A very small piece at the back is higher, and its very far from the veg garden..

What I need to do is picket fence off the veg garden so that the young pup cant get there. She's digging up everything that grows under ground that are bulb/tubes.

She had a hard start to life. Survival was her teacher and unteaching that would be impossible.
And at a skinny 27kgs at almost 8 months she's not small, so a high picket fence required.

Fun fact of the day

Humans are more sensitive to the smell of rain than sharks are to blood

To put that in context, a shark can smell blood at one part per million. That means human noses are 200,000X more sensitive to geosmin, which is also the source of the earthy taste in some vegetables, than a shark is to blood. No wonder I hate the taste of beets, my nose is probably better than yours.

Both the above do both greywater and blackwater filtering systems, from small to large.

What a great start to the morning!

There should be some proper thunderstorms later this afternoon if the TAF's hold up
