Southern Joburg and GP, you're about to get a little moist :)

The rest of GP, there's some decent rain currently moving in from the west, it should reach us in around 3 hours or so, if it doesn't dissipate

Good because the rest of us want to be moist too.

Hope we get some more rain. See the Vaal dam is running low. But still see people taking water restrictions as a joke. Just like the lockdown that most people do not adhere to.

Considered turning my sprinklers off, got lazy, just as well. Couldn't have been more than 5mm

There is quite a bit of moisture moving in from the west again  this week's forecasts indicates some rain.
Hopefully it will start around Joburg in the early hours of Tuesday morning, seeing as its currently showing up on Ottosdal Radar moving east

These storms have been quite irritating this past week  on Friday the convective thunderstorms formed to the east of their initial predictions, bringing some severe hail and lots of rain to Mpumulanga

This current system seems to be just missing Joburg and bringing rain to the south... Hopefully the forecasts for rain in the coming days are still accurate! :)

So far according to the TAF's, a few thunderstorms are expected around Joburg from 17:00, followed by rain from about 02:00 on April 1st

Yep. It rained in Potchefstroom day before yesterday. Usually rain coming in from that direction, 2 to 3 days and it's here.

Occasionally getting a couple of drops in LA, nothing significant
