As far as solutions goes its decent..effectively means pensions from gov employees have exposure to Vodacom.

Could have gone a lot worse....like some half-baked public/private partnership attempt at selling a portion of Eskom or something similarly bizarre.

Would still prefer them to sell to a private entity. Keeping it in the family is still an incentive to interfere in regulatory actions.

I agree with this . it will make PIC less likely to need a bail out later on , and cost tax payers money .
