Not me personally, but yes the electorate votes for them.

The electorate does not and cannot vote for ANC NEC members. And yet ANC NEC members have direct influence over policy.

MPs can ask questions of each other in parliament. I know the DA MPs famously tore into Zuma whenever they could. But no DA MP can summon anyone from the ANC NEC to appear in parliament, unless they are also an MP.

This is a problem.

Same here but I doubt anything can change though. Mamphela Ramphele won't suddenly win just because she happens to be the cleanest of them all.

Yeah. This was was a legit heist. No other way to put it.
If the implicated parties do not go to jail with measures to recoup the loss then law doesn't even exist in our country.

Law does exist ... but not always for the well connected.
