Low Low Carb and Gluten and Flour Free Bread - very easy, cheap
Very simple but fantastic recipe for low carb and gluten free bread.
Basic 3 ingredients:
Variations and baking method options:
1. For a quick roll as follows:
mix with a mixer in a breakfast bowl:
1 x egg
1 x tablespoon sugarfree peanut butter
third teaspoon baking powder
mix well until a nice creamy mixture
microwave for around 80-90 seconds, instant roll.
2. For delicious baked bread:
3 x eggs
3 x tablespoons sugarfree peanut butter
1 teaspoon baking powder
Mix well until a nice creamy blend, pour in small baking tin
bake for 30 minutes.
For a larger loaf, just increase quantities, 4 eggs work just as well with 4 tablespoons peanut butter and 1 and a
third teaspoons baking powder. I find the 4 egg version has a nice rise and loaf size.
Instead of peanut butter use macadamia nut butter, pricy but tasty.
Change one of the tablespoons of peanut butter to cream cheese - delicious combo.
Add salt if you want, it doesn't need it, but you can add if you prefer the flavour.
In various threads (supper, lchf, morty) people have posted some awesome pics of food and recipes. Let's see if we can create something useful.
The idea is that this thread will be easily searchable for people that want ideas, but be able to filter it be based on certain tags. If implemented properly, wading through endless comments won't be a problem for finding that perfect dish!

Here is a template that we can use (Let me know if you think we should add/remove any detail)
300g-ish of shredded cabbage
half a pack of streaky bacon
1 onion, diced
salt, pepper, whatever else you like for taste
250ml sour cream
mozarella cheese to cover
- cut bacon in small pieces and fry in butter until crisp, or however you like it
- remove bacon, fry onions in the bacon fat (add olive oil if needed) until it starts to become see through
- add cabbage, stiring add the spices to taste
- when cabbage just starts to go soft, add back the bacon
- remove after a minute or so (just enough for bacon to mix with cabbage), and put in a oven dish
- mix sour cream into cabbage mixture
- cover with mozzarella
- put in pre-heated oven for 30min at 180C
Slices of white bread (as per requirement, I normally eat 2 while my husband likes 4)
Eggs (1 extra large egg per slice of bread)
Berries (mix of your own choice)
Extras: Serve with Honey or Syrup, Dust end dish with Icing Sugar
Dip slice of bread in slightly beaten egg.
Add to Waffle pan and cook until either crispy or soft (as required)
As bread slices are cooked, keep them warm on the side.
While cooking bread slices, flash fry the chicken shavings in a pan.
When all the bread slices are done, cut them in triangle halves.
Add them to a serving dish, cover with choice of berries and chicken shavings torn into pieces.
Dust with Icing Sugar.
Serve with Honey or Syrup on the side.
Infuse garlic then sear meat. Salt, Let rest then take off bone and chop into bite sizes pieces
Sautee Veg. Onion, tomato, bullet chillies/jalapenos, tomato paste, garlic. Add in cumin and chili powder and salt. Add in Juice from rested meat and juice from one small orange.
Add back meat. Cook until ready. Service with sour cream, cheese and chives.
