On Friday afternoon my son, on his way to his car after work, heard a kitten crying. They eventually found the kitten in the engine compartment of a colleague's car. This little thing still had its umbilical cord attached, so he brought it home. We bough kitty formula and a bottle for it, and mom-in-law has been looking after it since. Its eyes are still not open, so it was probably no more than 2 days old when he found it. It does drink about 10 - 15ml of formula every four hours and urinates and defecates like there is no tomorrow. Had it checked by a vet on Saturday and it got a clean bill of health.

Crappy photo I know, but this its' size compared to my hand..

Probably a good idea to find out how to treat it in these formative months, for example kittens that are removed too early often become biters and scratchers because they didn't have enough socialising with their siblings and disipline from the mother.

I had a similar experience last year - it was a very rewarding experience watching them grow up - the little constant meows they make are too adorable

I've adopted three ferals so far. Very hard work for a long time, but when they finally turn into purr machines it's amazing.

I tried this, with Yoda, he has been the lone king for very long time and tends to disprove and fight with any new try, these were mostly to wait and give them a home and most to try and keep, unfortunately Yoda does not agree
