I think it's standard practice now for all teams - no phones allowed at the ground...It was quite interesting watching the Sri Lankans disembarking off the team bus outside Eden gardens. As they were getting off the bus they were handing their cellphones in.

You aren't allowed to have your cellphone with you in the dressing room. Its one of the rules that was implemented post hansie gate. Hence why they hand in their cellphones.
