Nah. We will beat sl and Afghanistan. And the very close game between us and wi will be close enough that we will end as the top 2 in the pool.
England might beat sl still but I don't see that happening too much spin for England.

Would this format not be better?

1 group of 10, play everybody once, 3 games on 1 day, 2 games the next. Group stage would take about 3 weeks, then semi's and final the next week. Allows the associates to play more and allows teams to come back if they have a bad start, the IPL has so many games, why not the world cup?

How much IPL do people still watch? I gave up after the first couple editions...it's too much cricket, I watch the knock-out fixtures only.

Each game loses significance if you're allowed that many fixtures to get things right.
