Seems they are on a mission.... :erm:

quite the start but their batting order is brittle...little bit of pressure and things can go pear-shaped in a hurry.

I'm hoping for a Pakistani win...things have been going too well for NZ.

Interviewed a chap in Mumbai for a post today.

He said he was a massive cricket fan, followed all forms of the game, and his favourite player was AB de Villiers
Asked him who he'd shout for in a SA vs India game... "Whoever AB is playing for. We don't mind if he smacks our bowlers around a bit"

:D :D

You in India?

New Zealand weren't sensational with the ball, frequent and regular loose deliveries, but were good in the field and field placements and stuck to the basics. Pakistan failed to find the boundary in the last 5.1 overs.

Yeah, definitely going to lose more games than you win that way...

What context did it need?
It was relevant to the tournament, we were talking about it?

1. Was it quoted from somewhere? Where?
2. Did you do the interview? If so how, when you're not in India?

1. No
2. Yes. We have a subsidiary office in India, and the miracle of videoconferencing ;)

So top spot in Group 2 is sewn up (NZ should beat Bangladesh). Pakistan, India and Australia fighting it out for second. Pakistan just not looking like semi final material. Lacklustre against India and now same against NZ. They're going to have to pull up their socks against Australia. Australia vs India is going to be an absolute cracker and the winner of this will probably grab second spot. NZ looking the real deal here...

Did SA make any notes?

SA's batting isn't a problem. They are scoring more then enough runs in t20 cricket, have done for a while. Its the bowlers that's the problem.
Yep, was referring more to the fielding that prevented the boundaries.

Wonder what the odds were of Pakistan not getting a boundary in the last 6 overs. :wtf:

Or if someone bet on that...

Shoot out between Aus and India for the other semi spot. Perhaps the Pakis will do India a favour and hand the Aussies a shock defeat ;)
