Poorly coached team. They don't get the fundamentals right. That's why I say they need someone like Jennings. You play like you practice and it's clear these guys don't practice very hard.

They need someone to take them by the scruff of the neck and say, 'okay, enough of the music videos, get out there and practice you bloody running between wickets'!

I still say ... a referral is also needed in T20.

Just because the game is shorter and faster doesn't mean that we should accomodate mistaken decisions.

SABC broadcast seems a bit 'squashed' out of normal resolution, and makes everyone pudgy.

Great performance, as expected, in the dead rubber. Think we got the bowlers/bowling better in this game.

Just saw the stats over the last few years( win/loss ratio). Saffers at around 55%.... simply not good enough IMO.

Interestingly the top four in the stats are in the semi's...... Strange but true !!

Saw that too. Best is NZ, marginally better than India.

The boys could play the eventual winners on any other Sunday and win easily.....

.... and that is why supporters swear so much

When has jennings approach ever worked at the top professional level? All that approach will do is get the players turning against him like what happened at the proteas, gauteng and bangalore before.

The side needs an innovative guy who understand how be tough but also compassionate. Jennings can only do the tough part so no thx.

Late in 2008 Jennings took over as head coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore, a team in the Indian Premier League owned by the business tycoon Vijay Mallya. He was now heading a unit that experienced a forgettable IPL 2008 after finishing 7th on the log among the 8 competing teams. Jennings brought the team together by making Anil Kumble the captain of the side for the second edition of the IPL that was to start in South Africa. Under Jennings, Royal Challengers Bangalore had success and made it to the finals of the league facing Deccan Chargers in 2009. This was a big turn around for the franchise and the team who had a bad run the previous season. The same year, Royal Challengers Bangalore also qualified for the inaugural Champions League Twenty20. In 2010, the team made it to the semi-finals losing to Mumbai Indians and later finishing 3rd on the table. Jennings also has a huge fan following from the city of Bangalore from where the Royal Challengers Bangalore play.

The main reason for our losses was our pace bowling and being forced to bat first in key matches when we have been better at chasing in recent times. Our batting was above par except for the WI game. I think we would have gone through easily if we had to chase in the WI or England matches. We were just four balls away from winning all four games.

Our results. It's closer than it seemed at the time:

18th Match, Super 10 Group 1: England v South Africa at Mumbai - Mar 18, 2016
England won by 2 wickets (with 2 balls remaining)

20th Match, Super 10 Group 1: Afghanistan v South Africa at Mumbai - Mar 20, 2016
South Africa won by 37 runs

27th Match, Super 10 Group 1: South Africa v West Indies at Nagpur - Mar 25, 2016
West Indies won by 3 wickets (with 2 balls remaining)

32nd Match, Super 10 Group 1: South Africa v Sri Lanka at Delhi - Mar 28, 2016
South Africa won by 8 wickets (with 14 balls remaining)
