DFA explained that their current work – hence where they have already been granted permission to deploy fibre – will continue as planned.
So who was instructed to fill up the trenches as it seems that the municipality is not issuing anymore wayleaves so anything thats been granted will still continue as agreed.

Another large step backwards for municipalities in South Africa. Did they not get the memo that we are to have 100% broadband penetration in a few years?
