I'd be cautious offering any specific advice, as I'm not qualified to do so, and each individual and their situation is going to be different.

That said, when it comes to the chronic use of benzodiazepines, I'd be extremely wary of anyone (whether a doctor or not), who supports long term use without at the least being able to articulate the dangers of doing so, or worse, understanding the dangers, and not speaking up about them (although I cannot imagine why anyone would do that).

Your friend should seek a second opinion, from someone who is qualified to offer it. In this case, a reputable psychiatrist would be that person.

You certainly don't want to be using benzos to sleep, and you definitely don't want to be upping your dosage in order to do so, that is a spiral without an end, take it from someone who has been there.
I've been using Clonazepam / Rivotril for about 2-3 years now. I take it to sleep. Damn. I need to get off it though. Can't sleep well without it... I definitely would not recommend it for anyone to use other than in short bursts for highly specific reasons.

This Jordan guy confuses the hell out of me. He is way to intelligent for me to understand him.
I'd wager you're not dumb. I'd wager that JP complicates things unnecessarily and that your misunderstanding of him is based off not following his woo. I think he should stick to his field of Psychology and Self-Help.

There's a difference between misunderstand and don't understand.

Example: You misunderstood his post. I understand why.

Did this guy ever recover from his addictions and clean his room ?
Sort of. He went to Russia to be put in a coma because he while he has no problem preaching it, the whole "stoicism, self-reliance, the power of the will over circumstance and environment." is not really for him. It's for plebs.

Nothing to see here folks, just your normal grifter at work.

Is that real ? iv just been thankful he dropped off the news circuit .
I knew he was fraud material the moment he started dodging questions during interviews and turning it back to the interviewer.

Oh , should be a waffle ....,*but let me ask you this*Peterson voice*
Some concepts are not one liners.
Some concepts require context.

Some things require thinking on.
I'm stuck on his reference to Dostoevsky's piece in the brothers Karamazov of the little girl.

If he's not for you just move on.

Don't worry about it.

It is just leftists.

They will lie about someone and attack them if they speak out about socialism and communism.
If they can kill the message / messenger, then in their eyes it means that socialism and communism is good.
