The Joy of Using the Ster Kinekor Website (and App)

I have been trying all day to book tickets at Ster Kinekor using both the website and their App.

This is what I get from the website:

Words fail me when I try to express my frustration with their pathetic website.

It has also happened twice now that I make a booking, just to get to the cinema and find that their system cannot find my booking.

I can't be bothered with their new site and have pretty much just stopped going to SK because of it. It used to be an easy process, now it's a cluster**** of navigation and awkwardness.

If I had an address I'd send an email. I'm not going through their info@sterkinekor.com address only to get some bs coprorate copy/paste response "Hi, thank you for your email blah blah blah".

Anyone with an email address for a real person @ SK?

So I had to suck it up and buy tickets at the cinema. But because I normally use the App, my Vitality card is not with me. No problem right? I can just type in the number on the terminal instead of swiping my card! The functionality is there! Well, it doesn't work. I tried 3 times to get the stupid thing to accept my card number to no avail. So there goes my discount! I was forced to pay full price. To add insult to injury: when we get to our seats, the one chair is missing! It's not broken or dilapidated, it's just GONE!

Yet again words fail me. I cannot even.......

Fun fact: If you have a Sterkinekor card you get a birthday voucher.

I found this out as the manager told me when I was trying to check how many points I had as I knew one of the cards had a free ticket.
You can't check your points or redeem with the new system, you have to ask the manager to manually do so.

I still haven't used it though, only been to the cinemas once this year.

I think this is all a scheme by SK. If you book online you are less likely to grab snacks as you've already got your ticket. Just need to walk in. More so when you're running late.

More likely when you book in person. They make their money with snacks so they going to pull all stops to ensure that you do.
Just a thought.
