JOHANNESBURG – Who were the top performing companies on the JSE over the past five years?
Aspen? Capitec? Naspers?
According to the Quarterly Total Return Rankings, compiled by ProfileData for the period October 1, 2008 to September 30, 2013, Coronation Fund Managers was the top-performing company, followed by EOH, Taste, Adapt IT and Woolworths.
While Aspen and Capitec did make the list of the JSE's Top Ten Large-Cap Performers over the period, their total returns of 548% and 611% respectively were not enough to make the overall rankings, albeit by only a small deficit.
