Fast and Furious Joins the Lego Family With Dom's Dodge Charger

Lego has always been a family-friendly toy and now it’s getting friendly with a franchise that’s all about family: Fast and Furious.

Here’s the 1,077-piece replica of Dominic Toretto’s iconic 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, taken straight from the Fast and Furious films. It’s a Technic set, which means instead of just being cool for display, it’s got all kinds of moving parts much like the car it’s inspired by. The set has a replica V8 engine, moving pistons, double wishbone suspension, wheelie bar and, obviously, bottles of Nos in the back for when you need to put the competition in the dust.

I hate stickers! It is the single worst aspect of some of these builds. I love Speed Champions, but the number of stickers provided is appalling. In one set I built recently, there were 75+ stickers

I am currently trying to rebuild this:

My son built it once, then distributed the pieces. Slowly gathering the pieces and building. In between, I have been sorting all my Lego into like parts, containers, etc. This has taken me a ton of time so far. But will be worth it in the end. I have one sizeable box left to sort and then its down.

Several other SW sets I want to rebuild/complete. I may need to track down the odd minifig from sellers in SA (after lockdown), but it is what it is.

LEGO® CREATOR EXPERT REVIEW: 10271 FIAT 500 – THE BUILD
While the most striking thing about the LEGO® Creator Expert Fiat 500 is unquestionably its Cool Yellow/ Bright Light Yellow base colour, the set has much more to offer than just recolours! Today we’ll be delving deeper into the build process before taking a look at the completed model.

Review: 76139-1 - 1989 Batmobile
I was 5 years old when Batman was released and changed cinema forever. It ushered a new world of Superhero Movies and redefined what a blockbuster meant. Now I don't remember any of that, but I do remember watching it on TV when I was a little older and being blown away by everything about it. In the UK the comic book scene wasn't quite as saturated as the US market (shout-out to all the Beano and Dandy fans!) so Batman wasn't quite such a household name, most people only knew him the 60's TV show. That wasn't this Batman, this Batman had depth, darkness, flaws even. And it made him infinately more interesting.
