How much will they blow to "legalize" their cameras and setup?
or exempt them from anything, saying its not a camera per se,

its something that picks up characters on a VLN from a distance using software and a lens
but its not a camera:p

ANPR's do make use of cameras and software to decode the image taken.

Software alone cannot do the job, it needs an image.

Does this mean everyone who has paid e-tolls is entitled to a refund? It would be a beautiful s**t storm if so.

Does anyone know if the speed over distance cameras are certified. If so what process did they follow?

So will they reimburse everyone for e-tolls paid using illegal equipment?

Should put the final nail into the coffin for e-tolling.

Will someone please shut this e-tolls the f**k down already!!!!!!! They are wasting our time and money!
It's collapsing under it's own weight slowly but surely (as predicted a few years ago). They aren't even able to fund the collection process! So give it a bit of time and it will be a thing of the past.

Sanral requested exemption from needing their cameras certified
Just goes to show their absolute disregard for laws and the general population. They want to be excluded from anything that prevents them from becoming rich!

Nope, no exemption - you need to have a standard for those cameras!

Oh wait, let them go ahead and have no standards, their "proof" can be questioned, and thrown out of the courts!
