This will be a jump for me as I have the old MBP without a Multi-touch trackpad! :)

Very cool! I love technology- any innovative product gets my thumbs up- GO Apple!

(Though I'd never buy one- PC cheapness is bestest :D)

so how the heck do you hold it if it's multitouch?

and most importantly, what's the point of it?

Does the same as my mouse, but without all the extra buttons & multi-axis wheel.

Though mine can also change volume and go to previous/next track... Suck it Apple!

It is multitouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is what you do with it, you multitouch it :D

Cool looking mouse but in terms of amazing innovation i fail to see what is so amazing and innovative about it? Maybe you can explain aqua what is so amazing about multitouch or than it is multitouch.

I never said my mouse was read my question and then answer it.

/apple fanboy off

Yeah it has pretty standard mouse functions but swipe is pretty neat... a 2 finger swipe manoeuvre will be useful with some apps, and the scroll works depending on momentum.

From the site...
Click

Magic Mouse is an advanced point-and-click mouse that lets you click and double-click anywhere on its Multi-Touch surface.
*
Two-button click

Magic Mouse functions as a two-button mouse when you enable Secondary Click in System Preferences. Left-handed users can reassign left and right click, as well.
*
360° scroll

Brush one finger along the Multi-Touch surface to scroll in any direction and to pan a full 360 degrees.
*
Screen zoom

Hold down the Control key on your keyboard and scroll with one finger on Magic Mouse to enlarge items on your screen.
*
Two-finger swipe

Using two fingers, swipe left and right along the Multi-Touch surface to advance through pages in Safari or browse photos in iPhoto.

Killadoob, it will have some interesting features like any direction scroll, two finger page swipe. I know your mouse might be able to do to these things, but then u have like 8 buttons, this is meant to be do anything on any part of the mouse. Just wondering if it will still have 4 finger expose, and two finger image rotation like the glass trackpad.

I reckon you could map apps to gestures or functions. Seems logical...
