That was some very good (although short lived) rain we had last night! Very very unusual for this time of year
I snapped these radar shots after being woken up by the rumble of thunder, and the subsequent downpour.
Mpumalanga is getting the remnants of the rain this morning I see :D

Both images are from the Irene radar, just different ranges

You have a weird idea of what warm means.

It was 2.9 Deg C outside our house this morning but a balmy 17.6 Deg C inside before I put the gas heater on.

This morning at 6 it was -2C in Heidelberg. Checked my weather app and said -2C but feels like -5C

At the moment it is 5C

When I cycled to work this morning it was white from the all the frost and indicating 0.4 degrees C on the cycling computer.:eek:
