I can't recall if weather is like this every year or is it climate change related? Should have done paint job last month :crying:
In August 1983, we were having our very first swimming pool installed, in the Midrand area. The 3rd week of August was the big day, when they marbelited the pool. We had a massive storm about 3 that afternoon. The result was a mountain of marbelite in the deep end, together with a few thousand litres of water. The following days the contractor laboriously chipped out all the marbelite and redid the job.

So yeah, the weather is fickle and it's not only affected by the rantings of the "green" brigade.

Wunderground showing a "massive" band south of jbg currently, not sure if it's coming north

It may move over GP at around 02:00 on the 1st of October, but today's forecasts were far off so I'm not placing any bets yet

EDIT: Satellite image looks promising

Rain stopped in Waverley Jhb. Kinda wish it would kick off again. Was enjoying working under the covers listening to the rain.
