In August 1983, we were having our very first swimming pool installed, in the Midrand area. The 3rd week of August was the big day, when they marbelited the pool. We had a massive storm about 3 that afternoon. The result was a mountain of marbelite in the deep end, together with a few thousand litres of water. The following days the contractor laboriously chipped out all the marbelite and redid the job.I can't recall if weather is like this every year or is it climate change related? Should have done paint job last month![]()
