I had to replay the CCTV footage of the pool during the time to see what had happened . At 16x speed , it was awesome. Pool blue ... then you see the rains coming, winds blowing water everywhere, the pool cleaner hose was literally shoved to one side of the pool, and then the 'mud' came from behind the pool wall and into pool from shallow end to the deep end spreading like a virus.

I would have shared it but my stupid CCTV system can't record while playing at 16x speed.
That sounds like a movie mudslide. Mine was just from all the wind throwing in lose soil but it was a lot

Getting very dark here right now. I see there is a warning for severe thunderstorms and damaging hail for Gauteng for today.

Blue skies and sunshine here. Looked promising for rain this morning, but all gone now.

All clear now but there is a line of storms running N/S far off to the west, just crossed into the western side of NW province. Maybe something brewing for much later?

Hoping so, I love storms in the early morning.

Massive amount of rain for about 20 minutes with small hail, now sun is out as if nothing.

We had a huge downpour and then it slowed down but the wind nailed our electric fence, broke some tree branches which landed on our garage roof but the worst we saw in the area was a massive tree got nailed, took down a power line which took down a street lamp post and more power line.

Yup the wind can be hectic, we've had lightning hit the trees close to me, the lights even flicker.

I feel like I've walked out of a strip joint without my last zim 2.0 dollar. So much tease...so much nothing.

Well, George is completely flooded today. Cars floating in the streets. Sea and rescue on boats rescuing people trapped in their houses.

Seems very isolated to George though. Surrounding areas are getting a lot of rain but not anywhere near George.
