We already got klapped the other day. But anyhats planning to dethatch end August.

Yeah me too, my duranta hedges especially. Watering the grass like a madman trying to keep it green but failing, guess the dog is going to be covering the couch in dead grass for a couple months.

In this mornings satellite picture you can see the center of the cutoff low moving over the intersection of the NC, FS & EC. And the incoming front pushing up against it by CPT

The associated rain is also showing on the radar overlay

The rain makes it more bland and depressing. Go to Cape Town if you want rain in winter...

Bland and depressing is months of brown horizons from smog, brown foliage and a deceptively cloudless sky enticing me to be outdoors when actually being outdoors sucks because the sun's power dial is set to one or it's night time in which case it's frigid. :p

A bit of rain at least changes things up and takes that dry burn out of the air. Fear not though, it's already looking like we've reverted to the norm.
