I was on the Vaal dam this weekend and surprised at how full it was. Looking at the stats upon my return the entire vaal system is already basically at 100% and the rain hasn't even started. Anyone know when last this happened?

Also, it's going to take some significant management to keep downstream flooding risk to a minimum.

Mainly as Joburg water kept us at level 1 restrictions with the dams being full

Blowing a gale here in Midrand but nothing to indicate rain is on the way yet.

Sandton seems to be covered in a cloud of dust. Could be a dust storm. Very gloomy here for 2pm with no clouds in sight.
