Yes, but corrected for altitude. This is on the Sasol Factory in Sasolburg's monitoring system. We also have a lightning detection system in place called StormVue. https://astrogenic.com/?p=stormvue
Below is the current lightning strike information with no current lightning strikes reported in a 100km radius with Sasolburg in the center. All of these are important information used daily all over the factory.

I went to Krugersdorp yesterday afternoon. It was raining cats and dogs in Randfontein and Krugersdorp got plenty of rain aswell. Fochville got nothing. Not a f***ing drop
