Really coming down here. Thunder, lightning, the full shebang. Guess we got it last today...

We have had 48mm of rain since Thursday morning when we started experiencing rain. Fifteen mm in the early hours of Thursday morning, then another 15mm throughout the rest of yesterday and this morning I threw out another 18mm.

Nothing in the Moot area so far either
Lived in the Moot (Waverley, Kilnerpark) for the 1st half of my life and I always said that any rain coming from the south just take one look at the N4 and then **** off east towards Bronkies :) From town it was fine. If it crossed the Magalies and then came back... lots of rain :)

Ok, after careful consideration I will be sacrificing a sheep on Paul Kruger's grave this afternoon. Those in rain-stricken areas are welcome to join me. However I will be keeping the meat to braai over the weekend.
