Lady in our complex had a tree come down on her car while driving with a kid after picking up from school. Fortunately no one was hurt but they needed chain saws to free them from the vehicle and the car was inoperable. Leaving Sandton yesterday I also saw a huge tree fell blocking the road that goes off Grayston to Benmore centre. Whole road was blocked and they where cutting the tree away slowly. Looked huge.

Went through one mother of a hailstorm between Bronkhorstspruit and Cullinan around 15h00. Was a mixture of big and small.
With absolutely no place to take cover.

Work bakkie took some direct hits from a bunch of golf-sized stones. Just assessed the damage and bonnet and roof have about 20 smallish dents each. Have to look carefully but they are definitely there.

Can't say I'm keen for what's incoming. Yesterdays deluge has left me a little shell shocked.

Another heavy storm. Rain going in all directions now thanks to strong winds

A few trees came down in the area. Multiple streets still without power or water issues.

You're lucky, the west got hit and it was continuous heavy rain for about 4 hours

Been raining the last few hours here in Heidelberg.

Yoh, you Heidelberg okes get the rain hey. Should be called Waterberg...oh wait.

Having said that, looks as though there's some wet stuff on its way from the west if the satellite pics are anything to go by.
