Rainmeter was filled to the top but at an angle so it overflowed. Pesky kids probably bumped against it yesterday when they were jolling next to the pool.
Maybe a dumb question - can they let that water run into the Vaal? Bloemhof is part of the Vaal network is it not?

Ja I see Bloemhof is on the border between the mid vaal and lower vaal areas. It is the last dam in the vaal system.
Its kinda scary to see how little inflow there was into the Vaal dam after this point last year. Hoping we still get some good rains for January and February, though at least we're already a bit higher than last year.
