Sommer kak man. Looks so promising almost daily, even the weather apps predict some nice volumes, but it comes to nothing.

These clouds are normally called "Ovambo Clouds", but we could just as well call them ANC clouds.
They come to work every morning, then do vokol all day and f..k off early without having done any noteworthy contribution to the wellbeing of the country.

Reminiscent of the old days before the Vaal dam was built, The whole area from Three Rivers in Vereeniging down to the Barrage was flooded every year. Used to have wade through water to get to school.

The wall was raised. Was referring to before the wall was raised. But yes the original dam was only 15 years old when we lived in the area.

Still happens. A few years back people were cruising the streets in Three Rivers in their canoes.
