And so they have to break it, either forcibly or by creating laws that restrict, diminish profitability or just ruin a good business.

What Nedbank ignores to mention is that is being said as such under the condition that the private sector is the state's cooperative, hence interventions. It has been nicely sold to us in the SONA, but it is the practice which will govern the message. I have long said that the state wants all private enterprises to become state cooperatives, it has long been the modus in Cuba, not to mention China,

Hong Kong (CNN Business)China's crackdown on private enterprise has wiped out more than $1.2 trillion in market value for many powerful Chinese companies and stoked fears about the future of innovation in the world's second largest economy.

But the end goal of Beijing's aggressive bid for control isn't about creating chaos. The government wants to make clear to its corporate champions that tapping capitalist markets is fine — as long as it is on the ruling Chinese Communist Party's terms.

The heavy selling has accelerated in recent months as Chinese authorities slap companies with fines, ban apps from stores and demand that some firms completely overhaul their businesses.

Nothing Ramaphosa says will make a difference to South Africa. No promise will matter. The ANC has collapsed the country and economy and there is no way fixing it again. That is the legacy the ANC has created and left for South Africa. They have plunged each and every South African into poverty and hunger. The people of this country are now getting exactly what they have voted for and deservedly so.

Personally I think the most important thing in the SONA speech is updates about the SMART CITIES!

Ah yes and of course the EFF have vowed not to let Ramaposer speak again.
So be prepared for 60 mins of the children pretending to be relevant.
