I wish they had consumer drive stats, i.e. normal capacity drives from 500GB to 2TB.

What do you mean? They explain their methodology perfectly and therefore it’s pretty simply compare.

What disparity? Look at their stats over a few years and it should help.

Looks like Toshiba could make a killing if they were able to supply the quantities that Seagate can.

in 20 or so years, the only drives i've had fail on me are 2 seagates

which is ironic as i generally preferred them as my brand of choice (i bought wd as well at the time)

I have a few Toshiba 4TB's, good quality just very noisy when it amps up the reading spead for multiple files.... sounds almost like a stiffy drive.
