Speaking of golf and caddies, those who were at the Lion of Africa Open at Royal Cape for round one yesterday would have noticed a new bagman on the Sunshine Tour.

None other than Jacques Kallis caddying for good mate, Grant Veenstra. (Photo courtesy: Sunshine Tour)

I think it’s Kallis’s debut on the bag and Veenstra opened with a 2-over par 74.(Not sure if Jacques was giving the lines).

Lyle Rowe and Hennie Otto share the first round lead at 6-under par.

Happy to see Nic Henning with a good opening round of 68.
