The next online retailer to take on Wish, Shein, and Takealot in South Africa

Don't know them. Never heard about them. But, good luck with their ventures in a country where very few people can afford online shopping, let alone buying food every day.

Already had 4 orders delivered on time by Temu

I'd suggest you read the specs of the product carefully, as there is a rubbish amongst the merchandise

Best bargain was USB 3.1 7-port powered hubs in aluminium cases with a 5 volt PSU. R28,00 each. I bought 20 of these and since the total was over R500, free shipping and an additional 10% discount

Friend bought a reflector telescope with a tripod. Well made and in a stout plastic case

I got a bone conduction hearing aid for our maid's husband. He cannot afford the R45k for a Siemens unit. He says this works well

No good for music or using a phone, unless its on speaker. But a revelation for him. R 550,00

Might get one of these for my neighbour to try out

Not with all of the fake products they sell.

No, its not fake. No fake watches or phones. Please show me a fake product. There are clones, like this one

So no 16GB SD cards that are labelled and formatted 64GB? Notice there are no common brand name cards because these can't be reprogrammed. Even searching for Sandisk you find nothing like on legitimate sites. It's all generic and ones you never heard of made for duping consumers. I'd be wary of buying anything electronic from them.

If you ever visit China, you find that they are incredibly proud of what they have accomplished. 99% of the entrepreneurs I spoke to are bending over backwards to rid themselves of the "Chinese trash" label.

The days of reverse engineering Western products are past. Today they strive to make it better.

The Japanese had the same philosophy in the 1960 and 1970s. When I was given a Toyota to drive around in by my employer, some people thought I had been demoted. But I drove it for 6 years and nothing went wrong and it was robust and comfortable

A fellow who took us around has a NIO electric car. As smooth as a Mercedes, almost silent. Self parks

China sells their trash outside of China.

No thanks, I would rather buy items I know and that lasts longer than this cheap chinese stuff I dont need. Waste of money buying anything on that store.

I got burnt with Wish, decided then and there I'm not falling for that type of kak again.
I'm sure you might find some bargains amongst the scams, but I've not got money and time to waste to find out either.
