So i have not only had up's and downs with Cell C. Only UP's :mad: . I have complained to the Call centre to no avail. I have complained on Hello Peter( http://hellopeter.com/cell-c/complaints/attrocious-customer-service-1176155 ), gotten a reply stating i will be phoned "soon" yet its been 3 days and nothing. I have sent messages to the Cell C representative (Whom I must give credit as he has been extremely helpful in the past on other issues) on this forum and I am not getting a reply, which I can only assume is due to him either being to busy, or the problems I am experiencing are way above him.

I am supposed to be refunded for data used outside my bundle, whilst 2/3 of my data bundles weren't active, yet my account is still showing I owe money which I will be billed for next month. I have not receiving a call from the Call Center (As I was told when I laid the complain and got my reference number), I have not received a call from "Ruth" in the escalation department as I was told was going to be "soon". I am quite amused at how I pay money for this service (which half the time my calls drop and i have no data throughput), yet 1 of several people cannot take the 2 mins of their time to call me and tell me how/what I can ALSO do to get this resolved as soon as possible.

One lady at the call center has stated that i put a stop on the debit order at the bank until things are resolved. I am a little scared of this due to me not having knowledge on how that will effect my payment/credit history etc.

Can someone please suggest what my next step should be? What can I legally do to continue to try and get my issues resolved in the nicest possible fashion.

Hi Cell_C

Thank you. I have now late yesterday got a call from the branch whom I has given in my iPhone(3 weeks old at the time) to be repaired. The repair department sent the phone back to them after 12 (Twelve) days, and only performed a software update and the problem of the dead speaker (no ringing, audio etc) still persists. This after i updated the phone the night before I took it in to the branch to send it in for repairs. I cannot understand this. They had the phone for 12 days and performed a Itunes firmware update, which was not even needed.

I have now gotten a call from Ruth 5 mins ago. She asked me to remind her on the 7th via email to send my account to the right department to do the refund( for the out of bundle data I used while my data bundle wasnt activated by them for 2 months). :wtf: There was absolutely no attempt to make up for all the trouble I have had with signing up/broken phone(which still is)/billing issues i have experienced in the first and last 2 months with Cell C. It was rather a I will do what was supposed to have been done in the first place and good bye. The call from Ruth resembled nothing more than a normal call centre fault log call. If that is what is considered escalation then I don't know. Besides the fact that I need to remind her myself.

I will for my own sanity leave it here, but I honestly cannot recommend this type of service to anybody.

I honestly love how Cell ac have on Hello peter replied and stated that Ruth has resolved all isues relating to my problem. Yet I cannot edit my hello peter post to comment further. A nice little debit order has gone off today from Cell C and I still do not have the phone I am paying for and my billing issues are still there. This is what you get for signing a contract with a company who arent intrested in its clients but rather their debit orders.
