I think the old one had that G force meter as well ....

I'd probably crash watching it though :/

R1.2m is a lot, but compared to others in its class (if any) it is quite well priced.
R300,000 more than the UK model and nearly R500,000 more than the Japanese one...fsck government import taxes.

hhhm, I saw a R-35 on the road here a couple of months back... not 100% sure where, and it was only for a split second, but enough to recognize the beast... what surprised me about it was how massive it looked. The sound it made was amazing...

wierd though to find out that it is only going on sale now...

yes there were pre release GTR-35's in the country being used for testing etc, Japanese NAV, etc ... i did place an order for one so got the low down on the car from Wilhelm Baard, the main individual behind the GTR-35 from Nissan (i subsequently cancelled the order once i got the GT3)

It an amazing car but one must note that when tested by non-biased parties the car got no where near those ring times that Nissan achieved ....

the fear i have of the car and reason i did not bite, was the brand ... like some have said it is a Nissan, and i would be scared of massive depreciation (it might not be the case as this is special car) ... in the rest of the world this car retails this for a little more than an M3 and C63 merc ... in Japan its much cheaper than these cars ... in SA its 50% more than the Beemr or Merc! if it came out at the R900 or R1M mark then my choice would have swayed to the Nissan

Agreed, I was looking at importing a demo model from japan. Landed In SA it cost just over R500K. go figure....
