Which vista are you running and what build
Try this,do a clean boot.
Run msconfig and disable all services, but hide the vista services first.
Then on start up disable all start up entries.
Next restart and tell me what happens.
When does the bsods appear? At random or when you load something.
Also put your profile in vista to high power profile.
Maybe there is a clash with usb driver corruption.
When you plub the usb out and back in what message are you getting.look at the usb safe stop icon in the right bottom corner, click it and tell me how many things is there to stop.

I have also run SFC /SCANNOW checked HiJack everything is normal.
I think it has something to do with the Neotel drivers and The USB TUSB3410

The Errors in my report are as follows:
IRQARB: ACPI BIOS does not contain an IRQ for the device in PCI slot 3, function 0. Please contact your system vendor for technical assistance.

Check for conflicts in your vista monitor program.cntr alt delete or go to admin tools for that.

Hi guys

I accidentally removed my 3g connect card from my laptop before

stopping it and got the BSOD. After that it rebooted normally but would

boot very slowly (5mins +) which it never did before.(shutdown also

long). I did the usual checking of unneccesary startup aps and

processes, viruses that would normally slow a system down but couldnt

find anything. Also my cpu usage is running at 60% idling.

I formatted, reinstalled and upgraded the bios but it's still VERY

slow at booting up and shutting down.Did i perhaps mess something up in

my card slot?

Please help

Firstly please install sp3 for xp and see if that dont fix the problem.Dont plug the device in on boot of pc.DO you know how to do a clean boot of xp for diagnostic checking.
I had a modem driver issue not to long ago that did the same thing. You must get rid of all traces of the drivers for the modem.

I had 3 trying to use the connect card then reinstalled xp without installing the card again (using a usb modem for now) so no chance of drivers left.
I don't get any BSOD'd anymore, my system is just really slow after the connect card incident
Build 2600

I would also recommend you download a Registry fix...
Most probably you've a corrupt registry file.

Do you've the latest drivers for the 3G card.

After looking at your processes i have a solution for you,its gonna be a little difficult but this will surely work and your pc will run a bit faster..so here is your solution.
1-PLug in the modem, and it will install the software.
2-go to control panel/add and remove tab.. and delete the software that came with it except for the modem drivers which will show under a seperate line.
3- now when thats done go to add new connection wizard.and make a dial up connection.Follow the prompts and dont put any passwords in and username...also input the dial up number from the device.
4-next go to modem settings in control panel and see the list of modems, then go to advance and input the initialization string for that modem.Press ok and go back to desktop

If all went well you should see a shortcut to the dialup you just made.Double click and you on the net.
If you have any questions just post it here.

I didn't have problems connecting, I had problems with a very slow bootup and shutdown that started directly after the modem fail but got the problem fixed now.
I swapped the new laptop battery for the original one and it seems fine now (???). Also works fine after swapping back to the new one. Any idea why???

Thanks for all your help

BSOD Owns Me.... =(((

Okay, so my computer has been crashing suspiciously [after I installed sims 2 and alcohol 120%....] and recently I have had countless BSODs... even after I reformatted. First it was just 'lack of memory', and then I think my pc had problems with my virtual drives, and now it has become worse... -shudders-

My most recent error:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

spwy.sys - Address F737F7460 base at F73EA000, DateStamp 477bbd59

Gahhhhhh. Help meeeeee - I offer eternal enslavement to the person who can save my pc from the dreaded BSOD :p.

My specs are:

Windows XP
480 MB RAM
2.53 GHz CPU
32 MB onboard graphics [I know I know, it suckeths... =(((]

Basically, I've re-attached my RAM, I've uninstalled Alcohol 120% and disabled my virtual drives, and and and.... if my pc just doesnt wake up some day I am going to go insane.
