Numsa, ANC, all ****ing useless assholes who want to see South Africa suffer.
 
This just proves that Eskom's primary job isn't to generate electricity. It is to employ people with a black skin. Generating electricity is just a side business.

If generating electricity was their main objective, then every other goal, including the skin colour of their employees, would be subservient to that objective.

ANC policy is that SOEs must support the developmental state. ANC policy also says the government must be in charge of critical areas of the economy such as energy. Eskom's objective is still primarily to supply energy but it must also support the ANC's vision of a transformed economy and that does yes mean doing business with mostly black businesses and support employment equity. As with most things the ANC do, they do get the priority ass way around.

We need to stop blaming the ANC for giving us what the voters wanted
 
This is why privatisation of Eskom Generation is essential, or at the very least having businesses and municipalities source their energy from other parties.

NUMSA and the ANC is making it impossible for Eskom to be able to dig itself out. I truly feel for the Board, the Executive and Management (of all races) at Eskom as they are being kicked in the face while having the people that should be helping them holding them down.

If only Cyril could grow himself a spine and force through policy change like Zuma would, the flaccid muppet doesn't realise its probably the RET faction doing this so he losses the support of the party come the next ANC election
