You should check all my VAG FAIL threads - they fail so much I have a lot to post about :D

I saw two broken down VAGs on my way back from the West Coast yesterday - the one was being helped by a guy in a Corsa bakkie :p Unfortunately I was cruising a bit too fast to take pictures.

LMAO...I make it my duty to stick my head out of the window when I drive past any make car(esp VAG's) stranded aside the road and yell out loud..."Buy an Alfa" and then I tell my passengers "see, its not only Alfa that breaks" and they all nodd with imense understanding.

Then all of a sudden I hear a new noise either from the engine or the gearbox LMAO! Just kidding!

i hate VWs. But will not contest that they are very popular and hence for a reason. (be that good build quality or mankinds stupidity i dont know...)

thats so true man, doesnt matter what car i drive, sooner later i will get problems....
guess its just my luck, but wat makes a difference is how easy and cost effectively it can be fixed, and thats why i used to drive a vw, just much easier to get the problems sorted
ps. i dont have a car anymore, but a scooter

OMG..scooters IMHO are such a no no! But to each his own hey. Look, I'd recomend a Gholph for student, coz prety much anyone with a 10 spanner can fix 'em and you have a Gholph mechanic on each corner!

What i don't like is when Gholph drivers make as if the car is the be all end all of cars!!! Arguing that their cars are faster then M3's coz they fitted Jenvey throttles...yes it may be faster to the 400m but is that it? What about a drive in the mountains, what about top end, what about comfort, what about corners??? The gholph really did fool loadsa people, but joh...they all buy 'em for the same reason "eveybody else has them for a reason!:erm:"

The guy who dropped me like i was in reverse in Roodepoort yesterday obviously thought his citigolf was the bomb. Dont know what was in it but usually my turbo-diesel can drop things until 3rd gear from the sheer torque. This thing shot past me from go like it has a rocket launcher strapped to it.

Of course, give us some nice hairpin corners and we'll see who comes out :)

I take my back numberplate off at night when going through capetown, don't want a fine from those camouflaged speedtraps.
