The R570 adapter that lets you charge your iPhone 7 while using headphones

It IS good design.

For Belkin's revenue stream.

And for Apple's. They get licensing fees for every device that uses their connector.

Now if it were a USB type C port, you could argue the design element. But this is just shameless money grab.

Inb4 isheep to say 'this accessory is not recognised by your device, please use only 3million rand original Apple accessories'

A FOR profit making entity creates another avenue to make money. #shocking

I mean really....I burst out laughing when I saw this....

I have so many questions!!!

Will ALL Apple devices lose the jack? Sure this has to happen for them to show courage. That means laptops, tablets and Ipods (are Ipods still a thing?).

It's nothing to do with courage and everything to do with capitalism.

Correct me if I am wrong but doesnt Apple iPhone 7 also have wireless headphones. The USB type C port is an alternative method to connect.

So you can still listen on wireless headphones and charge the phone. Why would you need an adapter.

Belkin makes good stuff but it's rarely inexpensive. Of course they have to absorb Apple's licensing fee for the connector, three of them in this case, which doesn't help. A cheaper option would have been one lightning port and one 3.5 stereo.

My first impression was it's a like chunky but then quickly realised that most people wont be walking around using it, so who cares.

I think a dock would have looked better.
