Second, your claims of suffering for centuries is the ridiculous bit my friend, I'm from Dutch and French heritage, do I blame the English for multiple Anglo-Boer wars not to mention multiple wars with my ancestral French family on their homeland and let it influence the way I vote or judge modern day English or French people?

I never suffered directly myself, have you heard the term the "born-frees" here in ZA? That is exactly the thing, a generation born only once everyone was able to vote, hence they have lived their entire lives in 100% political freedom. Frankly they do not get to claim that they have suffered for centuries under white rule, they patently did not!

Now you can harp on about white privilege and all that hoopla again, but don't claim that you, personally, have suffered under white rule unless you, personally, did.

Whatever the "intentions" that you seem to psychically divine, the reality is a cruel discrimination in which competent whites are forced into unemployment to be replace by under-qualified, inexperienced, incompetent blacks. This is all over our economy, our govt., state-controlled enterprises, and is one reason these institutions are less productive and run at higher expense levels, to the detriment of the economy overall.

If you do not see this may I suggest a visit to a competent optometrist.

My agenda is simple. Once this country faces and address the real issues it will move forward. Side shows like race and white guilt are side tracking the do-gooders (SJW types). This country is imploding and all you can see is color.

We are meant to be getting away from treating people differently on the basis of their skin.

Look at everyone's reaction to the constitutional court judges this week.

Of the white people people who watched it, how many do you think thought: "hmm, these silly black judges do not know what they are talking about". I would say precisely none.

I and many other people in this country want to be judged on the basis of our abilities and behaviour. Not on the basis of our skin colour and language.

If the people in this country won't vote for a party because of the skin colour of their members(and not because of their policies), then our society is truly f**ked.

I agree with you I dont know how you could have come to any other conclusion based off any statement of mine. However insulting others because they have a different opinion for which they are entitled to just fuels discord and does not serve any purpose. How will we ever get to a solid consensus if we call other people's opinions "silly" or "stupid"? We are all clearly well educated here so we owe it to those who aren't to get it together because if we can't it will be the beginning of the end for all of us. Trust is earned and empathy goes a long way.

The votes determine the actual consensus so how is freedom of expression going to change that? If black people are continually attacked and berated for their opinions even if they are based on a fear of something that no longer exists how will they ever be able to withdraw a defensive stance and look at the facts for what they are? If I was treated like that I think i might struggle to see things objectively and rather go for the option that protected me personally before I considered the best interest of all parties.

So the opinions of black people should be mollycoddled and not be dealt with in a critical manner and called out if idiotic, we should just keep quiet or say 'that's nice'.

The effs economic policies reek of communism and would be the nail in this SAs coffin. Everybody will be poor, there will be no growth, no investment, just doom in gloom. Their policies are idiotic and to vote for them instead of an alternative with a good record of governance just boggles the mind. Cutting off the nose to spite the face really which you are free to do but be prepared for the consequences and don't expect me to hang around and suffer with you.

Call it out by all means just do so constructively without the need to insult them. It's the aggressive approach that I don't think is nessasary it just solidifies their views.

A stupid opinion or choice needs to be dealt with bluntly... again if some class that as an insult that is an issue that they have to deal with...
