Yes, that's because the white middle class in Cape Town is pretty damn big. We were chatting about this and even in the situations where white people are told there's no place for them to stay in res, chances are they are able to make a plan with a friend/relative while they are on the waiting list.

The sad reality is that many, many non-white students who are subsidised do not have this option.

However, that doesn't change the point that many of the RMF (most likely) have hatred towards a specific race group.
