The thing is the vision is short and narrow sighted.

You should really change your terms around. Get a new term, like the word Zupta. If it's not about white people - which is racist; then use a word to fight for equality. Then instead of riling up anyone with a hint of logic, you could actually get everyone on your side.

Where the freakin hell aren't they equal? there are whites in univesities, there are blacks in there as well...what equality are they referring to. Anyone may apply.

Or, why not advance the movement a few hundred years and call it "inequality". The economic classes of poor, middle class, rich are actually old terms that people have been against for many, many years.

That way, the movement could actually get somewhere.

It has already lost it's momentum, hit a brick wall, and is now descending into violence.

No, see, when white people make racial comments then that opens real wounds and causes genuine suffering to people who've been victimised by the past.

When black people make racial comments that's find cuz there's no wounds to worry about. :rolleyes:

Protesting under 'white privilege' while wearing shirts, holding banners and spray painting building with **** like "KILL WHITE PEOPLE", "**** WHITE PEOPLE", "BURN WHITENESS" is protesting against white people. Stop bull****ting yourself.

They are protesting the imagined privileging of whites over blacks by UCT. That many whites are privileged is not in dispute. That they owe their privilege to the current UCT administration and policies is utter nonsense. That there must be people involved in this fantasy of white privileging means you can't separate white people from white privilege in the protesters agenda.
