Bloody hell, the rand has lost 3% of its value against the dollar today, now at R16.04

It's just sad considering on the day of the budget speech and just before Brazil got downgraded to junk status, the rand was merely swimming along @ R15.15/$ ...... it's not like we talking decades ago here, it's only been 3 days ffs!

Until government address and fix the problems with our economy the Rand will continue to depreciate IMO.
A sovereign credit downgrade to junk status should get their attention.
