From playing around a little with LTE I come to the conclusion that the charges for mobile in SA are akin to playing the Casino. ( which ALWAYS wins of course )
One off pre-paid top ups are hellishly expensive -- and disappear like the morning mist.
R149 at Voda for ONE Gig ( NO no not THAT kind of "Gig" )
This disappears within a day or two of normal use of the Internet ( surf a few sites check one or two You-Tubes do a speed-test or two ) and POOF -- gone like Die SKIM !
WHAT do you get for R149.00 on DSL ?
THIS is what the honourable minister and the toothless ICASA should be looking into.
SA Mobile operators are worse than drug-dealers -- you need what they offer -- and they charge what they like.
COLLUSION -- NEVER heard the word !!!!!!!!!!!!!
