They both did and declined, probably to avoid the embarrassment of not reaching the threshold, it only Lindi who was brave enough because she seems to think she is so much loved by the members.

I don't know if there ever was anyone honest in the ANC, but if there was, they would have surely left in 2007. Why would an honest person stick around under Zuma's leadership? The only people who could have remained in the organisation are those who want corruption.

To transform the organization from the inside of course, knowing fully well there is nothing they can do from outside, it happens all the time, the people who gave us Freedoms were members of the National Party, had they resigned and left then only hard-core apartheid believers would have remained and oppressed us for another 50 years.
