He's fumbling. Doesn't have anything in any bag, he's busy alienating various allies. Mkhize might well be our president next year. He needs it to get off the legal hook and build another Zuma like family dynasty. Not sure who his "Indians" would be.I think CR has it in the bag. But if CR doesn’t. ANC is a dead party waking.

He is gambling big, but I think it's informed by not wanting to have to inherit the baggage of mixed NEC leadership he had to deal with in the first term. I think they are putting their faith in the delegates being true to their branch mandate, it could backfire but I honestly don't see a whole province changing their vote just because Mathabatha has defected. He's fumbling. Looks like it matters, the Rand is staggering ever since the news of an upset started. Both Ramaposer and Mkhize are useless, so it doesn’t even matter.
I would say Mpumalanga and Lamola are supposed to be big boys about it, Eastern Cape is the bigger province, they just need to concede that.
Unfortunately ruling parties across the world have access to many different levers that opposition parties do not have access. Assuming no dodgy voting irregularities, the ANC will engage in various policies that look much bribes to their key voting blocs... they've already implemented one bribe which is the R350 per month unemployment grant. It's already on life-support and the prognosis is terminal.
Will be dead by 2024.
How is that a bribe to their voters if everyone who is unemployed gets it?Unfortunately ruling parties across the world have access to many different levers that opposition parties do not have access. Who do you think the unemployed mostly vote for in SA?How is that a bribe to their voters if everyone who is unemployed gets it?
I honestly have no idea, but looking at the numbers the probability is that they don't vote at all.Who do you think the unemployed mostly vote for in SA?
I meant that they are both corrupt pieces of rubbish.Looks like it matters, the Rand is staggering ever since the news of an upset started.
Telling them the grant comes from the ANC and not government, and that it can be taken away again should they note vote ANC.How is that a bribe to their voters if everyone who is unemployed gets it?
The bribing takes time, they must first check for funds in the furniture. So results will only be announced later today LOL
