I cannot wait for ActionSA to get +- 5% of the vote in 2024 and Beaumont scratching his head and telling us that the electorate deserves what they vote for.

This guy makes it sounds like it’s a hop, skip and a jump to get 25% of the vote :laugh:
Strange, ey? Going by posts like that and some others, you'd think ASA is winning wards left, right and centre with massive gains, while DA never wins anything. LMAO.

Remember the Tarkastad by-election where DA went up by 20%+ while ASA only got a measly 3% (they don't like this getting mentioned to them).

Really? Only one I've seen is the DA march next week. I know there is talk of a national shutdown but those always turn out to be flops.
There was one in Kroonstad, there was a protest by foreigners in JHB CBD over one of theirs getting killed by police apparently...

Things are definitely heating up like I said this year will be the year where the ANC will start feeling the derision from the populace.

Yup. Idiots like Beaumont don't realise how hard it is to build a political party. It's slow, hard and grinding work to attract voters outside your natural base. ASA doesn't even have an obvious base vote that I can think of, lol, which as @Inertia points out, will lead to them getting max 5%. Think about this: the IFP has a base vote and didn't even get to 5% in 2019.

It's obvious they target the DA base first and ANC second.

So family of the mayor or the mayor's house, not sure as there are conflicting reports, set on fire in Parys.

@The_Right_Honourable_Brit

The people are gatvol.
What are the chances of an early national election? I suspect it would probably not happen. Can only hope.
The DA did file a motion for an early election in Parly, but it probably wouldn't pass, since ANC will just pull a "unity and renewal" and swat it down.

We had Zuma as a President with only Grade 4. We have Rama with a law degree as President, and look how useless he is.

I think JS should be just fine tbh.
Yup, the experience gained just by watching the ANC fail is more than enough to run a country and know exactly what not to do.

Which is why I say in this country currently, he is possibly presidential material. In a properly functioning country, he wouldn't be much more than a local politician in my opinion unless he did some decent tertiary studies (it should be a requirement in my opinion, but I am possibly biased)

Apparently, the story is that he did start his studies at UNISA but he ran out of money so he couldn't continue.
