What does he think is the big scandal in discussing his case? I am sure as an organization his case was going to be discussed at some point?
Problem could be what they said (e.g. "We must nail him") and who was part of the discussion.

I'm saying just the discussion in itself is legal ammo isn't it?
Unless the discussion happened in a fashion with people who would be able to influence the judicial process directly, it would be a hard sell to say that the discussion would have any bearing.

I am sure there's a good reason he is trying to build hype around the recording, it is probably a damp squib.

Yes i think so, he can use it. More so if it was senior ANC members who happen to be in government or influential. Remember the whole saga about Ngcuka and the spy tapes/prima facie evidence.

Seeing that she's super popular amongst the Twitterati, I'm just waiting patiently until she says or does something that doesn't please the Twitterati...

Then they'll hit her with the 1984 (the book) attitude of "Ramathuba? We've always hated Ramathuba"...
