I think he is actually making good points which are overshadowed by the spin put on by the DA, I also see MyBb is in on it.

For an example he is saying there is absolutely no need for a local company to be a middleman if a foreign company is a supplier to Eskom, removing that does not mean scrapping BEE, it is removing an unnecessary hurdle to Eskom operating efficiently.

I was weak and fell for McPherson's click bait. It's not fair to misquote someone like that to further your agenda, if he was indeed saying BEE must go it would be fair to ask why he is there if he knows Eskom is an SOE that will apply the laws of government.
Lets forget about Eskom, they are a lost cause.

can we rather focus on local government and make it a citizens' prerogative that we go back to the way it was before we had to pay politicians?

Yes, but still in there first term.
First-year in and Hichilema still hasn't been couped.

Didn't you imply that all incumbent parties in Africa never lose elections and thus give up power? And can only be removed via coups?

Now the recent affairs and peaceful political transitions of Lesotho and Zambia throw off that narrative, so now it's "BuT ThEy'Re StiLL iN FiRsT TeRm".

LMAO

I will give you some latitude with these 2 places.

Still Africa is a strong man place.

You are still young so I forgive you.

Zambia had peaceful transitions since the 90s.
The same with Lesotho since the late 90s.
Still Africa is a strong man place.
Not completely. The more North you go sure. But here in the South things are relatively democratic and peaceful, except in Zimbabwe (hoping that changes next year).
You are still young so I forgive you.
Convenient copout.

You are choosing to ignore everything that was raised after that post and go with your emotions?

So, I want to know how I went with my emotions on that post?

Yes. I am bringing this back up because this post of yours has bugged me. I did not make that post with my emotions. Something was called fake. I asked how, since I was genuinely curious and got a stupid answer of “if it’s a duck”

So, can you enlighten me how that’s posting with emotion when I asked for more info on why it was fake news.

There have been several coups in lesothos history. You may not remember but just a few years ago SA under SADC went there to restore law after a coup. And remember the night of killings? That was a couple of years ago or something.

Yes but not recently. The last actual successful coup was in 1994.

That SADC thing you refer to might be the protests from 1998.

Some information was posted that proves the DA's numbers to be absolute BS, did you perhaps miss it or was your post made in spite of that?

I must have missed that - of course my post was not made in spite of it. If there’s actual proof that the post is BS then fine. I just didn’t see it.

Okay, that's why I was taken aback and asked if you are ignoring all that and going with emotions. I don't have time to find the posts for you now but they are very near @ShaunSA post that you replied to, that is why the thought of you missing them did not cross my mind.

But ignoring that for a minute, answer this one for me, just on general knowledge of South African politics did you read that post and found nothing odd with the DA saying they found only 133 people in the indigent register from a municipality in KZN that includes a couple of townships? Totally no alarm bells were raised by that?
