Post Office warns customers of email phishing campaign

The South African Post Office (Sapo) has warned customers of fraudulent emails requesting outstanding customs fees for parcels to be paid for online.

"Members of the public receive an email stating that a parcel addressed to them is being retained because customs fees on it are outstanding," Sapo said on Monday.

To fall for this scam you have to also believe SAPO knows how email works.

You can tell it's fake because no one in their right mind would use the PO to send a parcel.
